Terms of Service
Reference translation — the Japanese text governs. Version: 2026-08-v2
Article 1 (Scope) These Terms govern the use of Workledge (the "Service") and the rights and obligations between users and the operator. By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. The Japanese text of these Terms is authoritative; translations are for reference.
Article 2 (Current form of the Service) The Service is currently provided as a free beta under development. The operator may change, suspend or terminate features, endeavoring to give reasonable advance notice. During the free period, no warranty is made as to availability or completeness.
Article 3 (Eligibility) 1. Persons under 13 years of age may not use the Service. 2. Minors must obtain the consent of a parent or legal guardian before use. 3. The Service is not currently directed at residents of the EU or EEA.
Article 4 (Accounts and user responsibility) 1. Users register with an email address or similar identifier and must keep their registration information accurate. 2. Users are responsible for their credentials and for operations performed through AI clients they connect (ChatGPT, Claude, etc.). 3. The Service follows an "AI proposes, humans confirm" structure. Confirmation (approval) operations are performed at the user's responsibility.
Article 5 (User data) 1. Rights to knowledge and data that users register or generate on the Service ("User Data") belong to the user. 2. The operator handles User Data only to provide, improve and troubleshoot the Service, as detailed in the Privacy Policy. The operator does not use User Data to train general-purpose models, or machine-learning models used to provide services to other users (processing for the purpose of serving that user is not restricted by this sentence). 3. Return and deletion of data: users may request export (return) of their User Data for 30 days after account closure, by contacting contact@workledge.ai. 4. Account closure and deletion requests are made to contact@workledge.ai; the operator deletes User Data within 30 days (removal from backups may take up to 14 additional days).
Article 6 (Intellectual property) 1. Intellectual property rights in the software, design and documents constituting the Service belong to the operator or rightful owners. These Terms grant users no rights beyond those necessary to use the Service. 2. The operator may use feedback provided by users to improve the Service without compensation.
Article 7 (Prohibited conduct) Users must not violate laws, infringe third-party rights, obstruct the operation of the Service, gain unauthorized access, or impose excessive load. The operator may restrict access or suspend use in case of violation.
Article 8 (Disclaimer) 1. The Service is provided "as is", without warranty of fitness for a particular purpose, completeness or accuracy. 2. The operator is not responsible for outputs or proposals produced by AI clients, nor for the results of confirmation operations performed by users based on them. 3. During the free period, the operator is not liable for damages arising from use of the Service, except in cases of willful misconduct or gross negligence.
Article 9 (Third-party services) The Service is provided through AI clients connected by users and infrastructure providers used by the operator (authentication, database, hosting, email delivery, etc.). The operator will respond within a reasonable scope to events caused by failures or specification changes of such third-party services.
Article 10 (Changes to these Terms) The operator may amend these Terms. Material changes will be announced on the Service. Continued use after a change constitutes agreement.
Article 11 (Governing law and jurisdiction) 1. These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. 2. Disputes will first be discussed in good faith; failing resolution, the Tokyo District Court has exclusive jurisdiction in the first instance.
